The Best Restaurants And Eats In Historic Savannah

Leopold’s Ice Cream Parlour
There’s nothing quite like an ice cream from Leopold’s Ice Cream Parlour to stave off the Savannah’s scorching summer heat. Whilst there’s often a queue snaking around the corner, the ice cream by all accounts is definitely worth the wait. In fact, for many, Leopold’s Ice Cream parlour is a must-visit destination for any Savannah traveller. This old-school ice cream parlour which first opened its doors in 1919 makes all of its ice cream on the premises from family recipes. The menu at Leopold’s offers a huge selection of regular favourites such as pistachio, peanut butter chippy, butter pecan and mint chocolate chip, and seasonal special flavours like thin mints & cream, pumpkin spice and rose petals.
