Leopold’s Ice Cream Gives Away Free Treats

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) – On Mondays, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. throughout the month of July, Leopold’s Ice Cream will be giving away free ice cream to any child under 12 that can recite the Pledge of Allegiance from memory.

Children will receive a coupon for a free cone or a child’s single scoop which can be redeemed any time in the month of July.

The promotion is recognizing July as National Ice Cream month, which was established by Ronald Reagan in 1984. Reagan also appointed the third Sunday in July as National Ice Cream Day.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
